Celebrating the Filipino Christmas Spirit
Christmas in the Philippines is never just a date on the calendar, it is a celebration of togetherness that starts as early as September and peaks with unforgettable Christmas parties. For Filipinos, Christmas gatherings are not complete without laughter, games, food, and moments that bring everyone closer like family. This spirit was captured during the JRF Family Christmas Party held last December 12, 2025, at Hermana’s Event Place in Antipolo, Rizal.

The celebration transported everyone back in time with a nostalgic theme inspired by high school and college days. From bomber jackets and bandanas to checkered polos and intentionally mismatched outfits, the JRF staff fully embraced the JEJEMON era. The venue was filled with the sound of emo, pop-punk, and throwback playlists. It was more than a costume party, it was a shared trip down memory lane that reminded everyone of their youth.

Of course, no Filipino Christmas party would ever be complete without games that spark uncontrollable laughter and friendly competition. These games are more than just entertainment, they are Christmas Party traditions that bring out camaraderie, teamwork, and genuine joy.

One of the highlights was the Harina Relay, where flour took center stage, not as a baking ingredient, but as an unexpected beauty product. Using only their mouths, participants passed flour from one teammate to another, resulting in hilarious moments and flour-covered faces. By the end of the game, everyone looked “retouched” in the most amusing way possible, proving that winning mattered less than the laughter shared.
Another crowd favorite was the Cup Caterpillar. While typically played with balloons, the JRF staff showcased impressive coordination and teamwork using cups instead. This game highlighted how collaboration extends beyond the workplace.
The Human Zoo game brought another level of excitement. With participants barking, making random noises, and trying to locate teammates through sound alone, the room echoed with laughter. This game showcased not only how well the JRF Family listens, whether to clients in Japan or to each other, but also how willing everyone is to let loose and enjoy the moment.
The night wouldn’t be complete without a Talent Show, where individuals and groups showcased performances that surprised and delighted everyone. From singing and dancing to creative skits, the JRF staff proved that introversion disappears when pamasko and holiday cheer are involved.

Finally, the much-awaited Exchange of Gifts and Christmas Raffle wrapped up the celebration. The Christmas raffle added excitement, with prizes ranging from practical Katinko sets to extravagant Mini Refrigerator and Grillers, proving that Christmas truly has something for everyone.

As the night ended, one thing became clear: Christmas is not just about gifts or decorations. It is about giving, loving, and caring for one another. Before the year comes to a close, the JRF Family once again showed that it values not only its clients but also the hardworking staff who make everything possible. Truly, JRF Cares.
